Parable:
How HE Taught Us to Live
First He chose a few masters to learn the truth. Yes, then He told them, “You go into the wilderness, which is what you know as the world, and teach these thoughts unto others.”
He immediately declared that thoughts are sacred, and the masters somehow knew that this was Universal Truth. The masters dispensed it among the slaves as well as all others who would listen to them. But soon He called to the masters with additional directions. He said, “Go out into the wilderness and seek higher learning. There is much to expose yourself to. Seek the higher thought waves that float loosely around the earth; seek the higher teachings, not the lower. If you accept the lower teachings, we cannot instill further thoughts into your mind.”
So the masters gathered their belongings and went seeking the truth. Soon they came to a large river, and there stood a man. He instructed them how to cross the river, and he told them how to seek the higher road; “Yes, the lower land will flood further up the way,” he said, “and you will drown. If you do not come into sight soon, I shall come looking for you.”
The Lord stood there dressed as a man, and the masters, in their search for higher ground, had found the Father.
Then there was the crossroad, which they came upon, and further down the road they saw a haven waiting for them and a guide to direct them. He taught them these things singularly, and worked with them until they learned how to harvest the green foodstuffs. From His back He carried them into the high countries and taught them all the amenable thoughts unknown in your land today.
He started with the first thought: “Calm your heart and soul and accept the light I send thee; accept the life on earth as a proving ground, an exertion on your part to solve your problems with the help of those who choose to surround you. Solve the problems you have both with us and those with whom you live.”
The Father anoints us with oil on our heads when we seek a reprieve from our fate, but He insists we continue to think deeply and seek the higher land, the higher learning. The land, the earth upon which you stand, is imaginary; it is all a dream or illusion of thought.
